DeNooyer Chevrolet

Client Objective
To expand the facility, improve the employee work-flow, and to enhance the car buying experience. A controlled buying environment was created while communicating knowledge, experience and longevity of a family-owned dealership.

Design Program
The owners wanted to create a hospitality environment. The interior finishes throughout the space are warm and welcoming. Wood accents and contrasting metal details are combined to create clean, dramatic lines. The remodeled showroom includes a vaulted ceiling centered over the new entrance, which extends out to the exterior of the building creating the new façade and front entrance. A large custom reception desk is located at the end of the vaulted ceiling to better greet the customers after their entry through new centralized showroom doors. Two tented ceiling structures are included to add ceiling height to the showroom. The flooring design mirrors the custom-ceiling details.

A centralized customer lounge has been added to the experience, which incorporates a fireplace, inviting lounge furniture and café seating. A curved wall showcases classic model cars in the custom display window. The renovated sales offices have views into the showroom and car lots to increase personal attention.
