Client Overview
Idun Spa and Salon is located in the Radisson in downtown Kalamazoo. Idun was a collaboration between The McCahill Group and the Radisson to offer a full range of spa and salon services to the guests of the Radisson as well as to the local community.

Design Program
In Norse mythology Idun is the Goddess of eternal youth. Idun Spa and Salon creates a unique experience of relaxation, pleasure, and pampering to rejuvenate a youthful being. SKP Design’s concept was to juxtapose modern elements with old world features to create a timeless design. The overall design features both feminine and masculine design details. The color palate represents the natural elements of water, fire, earth and air. 

The design of Idun emphasizes beauty at any age, which is portrayed through the use of materials, finishes and design details.
